AN EXCEPTIONAL VICTORIAN SLATDISH CHANDELIER BY F&C OSLER

A fine quality Victorian silver mounted chandelier attributed to F&C Osler, the stem with graduated drop hung dishes cascading down from the top canopy, the main frame, issuing sixteen six sided leaf cut arms supporting drop hung scalloped edge drip pans and candle nozzles, the frame incased underneath with segmented prisms creating a slat dish with a concentric ring of star rosettes and faceted balls the slatdish further mounted with petal cut dish supported by a corresponding cut finial, the chandelier hung with equal eight sided spangles and albert drops.
