Description
In this example of Tiffany Studios’ Tyler Table Lamp, the decorative leaded glass motif of the shade is accentuated by the careful selection and arrangement of Tiffany Glass in shades of green and amber orange. The green glass used in the gridded background shifts from a more saturated tone near the crown to a creamier tone near the edge, contrasting with the warm tones used in the swag decoration. The decorative border at the lower border edge of the shade is formed by semi-circular border pieces of sculptural rippled Tiffany Glass.

The shade is supported by the three slender arms of the original bronze Tiffany Tyler Lamp base, this example in a rich brown patina.
