Favrile Glass Shade with "Turtle Back" Tile Base

Description
This original Tiffany Lamp features a domed blown Favrile Glass shade formed by richly saturated green glass marked by all-over soft blue surface iridescence. The entire surface of the shade is decorated with a “Wave” motif in silvery iridescent glass. The interior of the shade is cased, allowing for brighter illumination, while subtle thick vertical ribbing adds a layer of visual complexity to the shade when the lamp is lit.

The shade is paired with a footed telescoping bronze Tiffany Lamp base in rich brown patina, with four inset triangular Tiffany Favrile Glass “Turtle Back” tiles in deep blue glass with rainbow surface iridescence, harmonizing with the tones in the shade.

Both the shade and base of this authentic Tiffany Lamp are signed.
