Unusual neoclassic fluted teal green leather cased table lamp in the style of Tommi Parzinger.
Beautiful green dyed lambskin or goatskin leather covered lamp body that is fluted with striking vertical lines of embossed gilt Greek key decoration on each raised divide that separates the fluting..
Unusual design that would go well with Robs-John Gibbings, Tommi Parzinger, Samuel Marx, or Edward Wormley to name a few.
The shade is a smoked fiberglass with a mica like coloration laced to the lamp shade frame with an apple green vinyl thread.
The lamp and lamp shade are in excellent condition. The shade was re-laced and the parchment is in untouched condition on the surface. the restoration that was done was to hand polish the brass cap and base and re-glue small areas of the parchment to the wooden lamp where it had lifted over time.
The shade measures 14" H. with a 17" diameter. -
