-
Description
Magnificent monumentally-scaled pair of “Ambassador” table lamps by renowned husband and wife ceramists Ulla (b. 1936) and Gustav (b. 1926) Kraitz, each base having generous ovoid forms with long attenuated necks glazed in an elegant smoky celadon craquelure, Sweden, 1970s. The rationalized forms, mannered proportions, and evocative celadon craquelure glazing to these lamps are typical to the Kraitz’s much sought-after work.
