Pair of Large Italian Mid-century Murano Glass "Bambu" Wall Sconces by Venini
-
Description
A Pair of Large, Italian Mid-Century Modern Murano / Venetian glass wall lights or sconces in a thick, opaque clear glass; and composed in an abstracted tree bark pattern, known as "Bambu" for their Bamboo ambiance. The pieces were designed and mold blown by the pre-eminent Italian glass blowing company, Venini, circa 1960. Their design is original, trend setting and iconic in their naturalist, yet modern aesthetic. Furthermore, their large size and clear but opaque glass are very functional in providing light. Each sconce has a backplate that can equip 2 sockets for effective lighting. Priced and sold as a pair.
