This sophisticated Mid Century Modern flush mount chandelier was realized in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- circa 1960 by the esteemed maker Vetri. It features a domed body striated in two shades of pink, swirling at a bias, that attaches to a circular white enamel base. With its beautiful glass quality and sophisticated vibrant color palate, this flush mount is sure to add an elegant "pop" of color to any interior space. It would be a perfect compliment to any interior, regardless of the style of interior, from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. The fixture accommodates two Edison based bulbs offering up to 200 watts each. Signed "Vetri Murano".
