Description
Impiccato chandelier designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, circa 1960s.
This piece based on balance has only one fixed ceiling plate (left on the pictures) attached to a metal oval tube. The other one slides along the tube thanks to pulleys. Along the tube then down goes the electric wire, passing through a counterweight back up then down to an acrylic lampshade. -
