Vico Magistretti for Artemide opaline glass Triclinio chandelier 1967
-
Description
Beautiful large Triclinio chandelier designed by Vico Magistretti and manufactured by Artemide in Italy in 1967. This chandelier was developed out of the Clinio lamp, designed in 1961, which turned out to become a modular design in 1967 with the Triclionio, Pentaclinio and the Eptaclinio. This Triclinio example has a structure consisting of three lights, each with a rounded opaline glass diffuser, with an inner globe also made of opaline glass, inside containing an E26 socket. The structure of the chandelier is nickel-plated brass, with three arms, each equipped with four hooks anchoring the glass elements. The structure has been fully cleaned, re-electrified, and the chandelier is in a beautiful condition. A rare and iconic piece of Italian design.
