A PAIR OF GEORGE III GILTWOOD MIRRORS
LATE 18TH CENTURY
The rectangular plates with leaf and berry frames surmounted by a central small oval still life painting of three flowers, crowned by a ribboned bow holding a sheaf of corn. Surrounding this a finely carved garland of ivy which supports a rosette and plume of ostrich feathers at the corner of both the top right and left hand corners of the mirror.
