Antoni Gaudí Calvet wall mirror in oak. Designed by Gaudí in 1902 for the Casa Calvet and reissued by BD Furntiure, Barcelona. Carved solid oak with varnished finish. The Art Nouveau style ornately carved asymmetrical wall mirror features a naturalistic design with swirling foliage motifs. Monumental in scale this mirror measures 77" H x 24" W x 7" D. The mirror is in very good vintage condition with some age and climate related cracks to the wood on the back side. These cracks have been reinforced with metal brackets from behind at the top and bottom of the frame for added structural stability. The cracks do no effect the front of the frame and do not show. Some small inconsistencies to the surface and finish.
