Renowned for it's exquisite mirrors and glasswork, Cristal Arte established itself early on with its innovative designs and outstanding craftsmanship. The company gained prestige in the 1950’s and 60’s for their chic and unique mirror designs. Particularly celebrated was their use of colorful Murano glass, wrap-around brass band frames and skilled reverse etched detailing. Mirrors from this period are still highly sought after today by collectors and admirers.
This large scale, oval floor mirror features a frame of alternating orange and blue mirrored tiles with an etched leaf motif all framed within a wrap-around brass band. The mirror stands on a “W” shaped black iron base with brass footing. This is a stunning piece that is sure to be the centerpiece of any room it graces. -
