Description
A modern polychromatic mirror designed by Ettore Sottsass, part of the series Gli Specchi di Dioniso produced by the Italian Company Glas Italia in Brianza, circa 2007. This Memphis design piece comes from a private collector outside Milan and can be accompanied by the other two Ettore Sottsass mirrors of the series in our inventory.
The trapezoid mirrored plate is surmounted, to create magic and drama in refraction, by a geometric black glass border and enclosed in other geometric shapes in white lacquered glass and transparent sun orange glass. Signed on reverse.
Glas Italia is widely known for high quality glass craftsmanship and celebrated collaborations with famous designers including Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck.
