French 1790s Painted Trumeau Mirror with Original Oil on Canvas Floral Painting
-
Description
A French painted trumeau mirror from the late 18th century, with original oil on canvas floral painting. Created in France during the last decade of the 18th century, this trumeau mirror features an all original painted frame with gilded accents, adorned with carved foliage and shell. It is the upper section however, that attracts our attention with its original oil on canvas still-life painting depicting a luscious bouquet of flowers displayed in a vase. Presenting a nicely aged mirror plate, this French painted trumeau circa 1790 will enliven any wall beautifully, perhaps hung above a fireplace, credenza or long console table.
