French 19th Century Louis Philippe Mirror
-
Description
A classic French Louis Philippe mantel mirror from the 1800’s. The carved gilt frame has a ribbon-twist motif along the outer edge, while blushing red bole creates a tactile effect on the molding. Intermittent lines along the molding reveal the overlapping sheets of gold leaf. Speckled foxing in the original mirror plate contributes additional excitement and detail. Fixed with a wire, this mirror is ready to hang in your interior. View the detailed images.
