French 19th Century Mahogany Louis Philippe Mirror
-
Description
A French Louis Philippe mirror from circa 1870, in an understated frame carved from solid mahogany. The dark wood molding is finished smooth to bring out the natural lustre in the grain, forming a simple outline around the mirror plate without the need for additional ornamentation. Tall, sophisticated proportions of the mirror will suit a number of rooms around the home and across traditional or modern tastes. The original mirror plate is still quite clear, minimally touched by foxing or crystallization. Please view the detailed images to see more.
