French painted mirror, dating to the early 19th century. Original (or early) mercury glass mirror plate surrounded by a hand-carved fluted border. Mirror glass shows expected spots due to wear and age. along with a gorgeous subtle ‘diamond dust’ effect. Paint not original, but also not recent.
