Gio Ponti Wall Mirror with Brass Frame for Luigi Fontana, 1930s

Description
An eclectic personality, from his early days he was active in the fields of architecture, painting, graphics and set design. He graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1920. In 1926 he founded-with editor Gianni Mazzocchi-the magazine Domus, which he directed until his death. In 1931 he was called to the artistic direction of Luigi Fontana, and in 1932 - together with Pietro Chiesa - he founded FontanaArte.
This mirror is a must have of the Italian Design, this is an item timelss and fitting always good with all kind of Interior's project, even those project mostly contemporary.
Very good condition, patina of time on brass edge, original in all its parts.
We strongly recommend a wooden crate to transport of this item. -
