Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
An incredible sculptural bronze framed wall mirror by Lothar Klute (b. 1946), Germany circa 1994. A rectangular mirror is framed / capped at the top and bottom with beautiful hand-forged solid bronze organic abstract forms. Dark rich patina. The bronze frame design overlaps with the mirror and has four cut outs showing the mirror through the openings. Modern and Brutalist in style. The mirror is signed and dated on the bottom left corner "LK 94". Measures 64" H x 16.5" W x 1.25" D. The mirror is 15.75" W. The long bronze detail overlapping the mirror extends down 19.5". Wood backing. This mirror hangs vertically with two wall anchors. A custom wooden crate will be provided for shipping. Lothar Klute is a German designer who created elegant Brutalist furniture and sculptures combining bronze and glass in the highest quality craftsmanship. - More Information
