A rare and large Islamic / orientalist calligraphy hand carved mirror / frame, circa 1900 Ebonized wood, silver leaf, and gold leaf giltwood. This fantastic mirror / frame was hand carved by a master calligrapher with kufic and arabic script. This is being sold as a mirror but can definitely be used as a frame for a painting or photo of any sort. Very good condition orverall, minor chips and to the wood in some areas, consistent with age and use. Measures: 39" high x 32.5" wide x 2" deep Can work excellent in a Moorish, Arabian room.
