Unusual hand carved Black Forest wall mirror with double frame out of Austria around 1880. A charming piece of a rustic Black Forest mirror, elaborately hand carved out of basswood, showing a very dark brown stained surface. Framed by slim bars in the manner of a tree branches on the outside, the main frame shows nice carvings. The mirror glass has been renewed during the restoration process. A great looking piece of a rustic wall mirror from the popular Black Forest period in Austria.
