Rustic Tramp Art Wall Mirror, Handcarved, 19th Century, Austria ca. 1880
-
Description
Absolute extraordinary, rare rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the late 19th century around 1880 in Austria. This large, intricately crafted rural wall mirror is a true gem and impresses with its incredible looking variety of different, elaborately handcarved elements like the pyramid style corners, interrupted by small mirror plates and artfully designed, upright standing round wooden applications in the middle parts of the frame. The so resulting, amazing looking patterns combined with the beautifully carved notch cut bars stained in a dark brown tone, make this one of a kind antique wall mirror an absolute exceptional piece of Tramp Art art work. Another great highlight to mention are the pointed "roof" elements on top. The backside has been closed with wooden panels and a handforged metal ring makes wall mounting easy. Definitely one of the most beautiful and remarkable masterpieces in our highly demanded rustic Tramp Art wall mirror collection, coming in perfect restored condition.
