Description
Lovely rustic hand carved Black Forest wall mirror from Austria, circa 1870. This so-called "black forest" style wall mirror has been artfully hand carved out of basswood in the manner of tree branches showing a dark brown/ black surface, sealed by a mat varnish finish. The late 19th century mirror´s glass was renewed during the restoration process. A hand forged ring on the backside makes wall mounting easy.
