Swedish Empire Mahogany Inlaid Mirror, Circa 1820
-
Description
A Swedish Empire mahogany mirror with subtle fruitwood geometric inlays, circa 1820, with an arched top above a steeped molding, the replaced mirror plate surrounded by a flat and molded rectangular frame with box corners mounted with bronze rosettes, ending with a stepped molded base. Very nice detail work with the combination of small fruitwood inlays throughout.
