Description
A very fine set of six Swedish dining chairs from the Rococo period, newly upholstered in linen with pierced splat backs, shell motif on the backs, seat frames, and legs, carved and shaped seat rail, refined cabriole legs, H-stretcher, and sip seats. Beautifully proportioned chairs with a restrained elegance. The patina is a soft, neutral gray. Circa 1760.
