Research
Of giltwood with painted and faux rosewood decoration. The rectangular curved top top rail of each painted with a different neoclassical scene above a central splat comprising three balls between two bars within downswept uprights from which issue downcurved arms. The caned seat above a frieze painted with a central star motif within an elongated Greek key border. The whole raised on four sabre legs, the front legs headed by alcoves containing carved veiled female figures and terminating in paw feet. -
