Description
Clean, curving creations such as glass-topped walnut tables made Adrian Pearsall and his firms (Craft Associates and later Comfort Designs) leaders in popular American furniture design from the 1950s into the 1970s. The chairs are formed of sculpted bronze resin (referred to as “Goop”) over a molded plywood form, and archivally reupholstered in a lustrous apricottoned velvet from the noted Italian fabric house Dedar.
