Description
Arden Riddle (1921-2011) lounge chair and ottoman from one of America's leading post-war furniture craftsman.
The frame is made from solid black walnut handcrafted in his studio in 1979.
Branded AR and dated 1979.
The cushions have been re-upholstered in a faux Sherpa boucle and are in very good condition.
The profile of the lounge chair resembles Hans Wegner's classic GE 236 couch which Wegner designed in 1954.
The chair is in excellent vintage condition.
