Icons of the Scandinavian modernist movement, Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Flemming Lassen originally designed the Mayor Sofa for Sollerod, Denmark's city hall, built between 1939-1942. Along with the architecture - they designed several pieces for the project that included a pair of black leather sofa's for the mayor's office - but not otherwise produced commercially. Now under retail production for the first time by the outstanding &tradition Copenhagen. This 3-seater has a fully-buttoned curved back over a smoked-oiled oak frame and is covered in Amber Velvet by &tradition. Can be customized. Model AJ5.
