A set of 4 stackable chairs designed by Pascal Mourgue and manufactured by Artelano in Paris in the early 1990s. Simple and understated yet trendy and sexy, the Rio chairs are made of black ebonized bent plywood and curvy enameled tubular metal frames. The metal winds its way around the back of the chair, like a river (rio).
These are great dining chairs or side chairs.
Sold as a set of 4. Hard to find in the US. -
