Axel Larsson Armchair in Bouclé and Mahogany, Sweden, 1940s
-
Description
This rare armchair was designed by Axel Larsson and produced in Sweden in the 1940s. The elegant and dynamic design is formed by the curved shape of the armrests and backrest. The legs and armrests are in a dark, solid mahogany wood. The model was also shown in an interior created by Slagelse Møbelværk, combined with a sofa and armchair designed by Viggo Boesen.
The chair has been fully reconditioned and newly upholstered with a buttoned detail in the interior seat. The sand colored bouclé fabric by Larsen creates a beautiful textural effect. The mahogany wood of the armrests and legs has been carefully restored and refinished. -
