This rare Biedermeier ebonized stools were made in Vienna circa 1825-30.
Ebonized Biedermeier pieces were mostly made in Vienna, Austria and account for only 1-2 % of all Biedermeier furniture made. Therefore, they are very rare.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The refined details of this elegant pieces are highlighted by beautifully shaped columns and a sophisticatedly formed base.
Seats are height adjustable.
