"Diamond Spine Chair" in Aluminum and Fabric by Sculptor BilHenry Walker
-
Description
This Post-Modern art chair is by noted contemporary Milwaukee, Wisconsin sculptor Bilhenry Walker. Like his giant outdoor sculptures, this chair is a striking sculpture, but is useful as furniture for the inside. He uses his favored medium for the base structure, which is extruded aircraft-grade aluminum manipulated by him in his studio. The chair is then covered in red micro-suede upholstery over fitted foam cushions, and is finished with with stainless steel bolts and foot adjusters. It is signed and dated by the artist. This side chair is a one-of-a-kind prototype of his futuristic sculptures as furniture. it is comfortable besides being an eye-catching conversation piece.
