A carved mahogany curule-form upholstered stool with new velvet upholstery. The curule-form stool with intricately carved crossed legs and stretcher including acanthus, shell, and mirrored C-scroll decorative elements, upholstered in luxurious voided cut velvet with a bold geometric pattern in rich red and beige tones. English, circa 1890.
