A pair of Mid-Century Modern fiberglass swivel armchairs designed by Charles Eames for Herman Miller. The fiberglass molded bucket tub chair with arms, raised on a fixed aluminum X base with swivel fitting. Also retains Herman Miller stamp underside. Charles and Ray Eames introduced their original fiberglass shell chair for Herman Miller in the 1950s. This later 1960s iteration of the armchair features a molded shell seat on a swiveling base.
Condition Report: Frame is in good structural condition, shows well, light fading and wear shown in photos with stain shown in photo. Construction is strong and sturdy.
