Bench designed by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1950.
Wood, lacquered metal frame and legs. Provenance: Cansado, Mauritania (Africa).
In original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The wood has been waxed on the top side, nothing done to the underneath. Metal legs as found. Fantastic coffee table or low bench as intended. c1958
