Bench designed by Charlotte Perriand, circa 1950.
Mahogany wood, lacquered metal frame and legs.
Provenance: Cansado, Mauritania (Africa). In original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.

Pavilion is the collective vision of Deborah Colman and Neil Kraus, both graduates of the master of fine arts program at the Art Institute of Chicago. Postwar design has been the focus for 18 yrs and we also look forward to new design that crosses boundaries and dialogues as well to the past
