Collected set of eight Georgian dining chairs from England. Eight English country chairs of similar shape, style and scale, circa 1750-1789. Hand-carved in oak, constructed with mortise and tenon joints with an early dark brown patina. Newly dressed in scalloped-edge white linen skirted seat cushion. Sold together and priced $9,800 for the set of eight.

Origin: England Period: 18th Century Materials: Hand-carved oak, foam insert and woven linen Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Sturdy, stable. Joints tightened. Patina and finish worn slightly in the expected spots around edges, splats and seats. Skirted cushions new.
