Executive side chair designed by Mid Century Modern designer royalty Eero Saarinen and constructed by one of the very top makers of quality modern furniture of the time, Knoll. Eero Saarinen was all about incorporating ergonomics into design to support proper spinal alignment and deliver a comfortable sitting experience like no other. This 1950s mid century modern executive chair is much like Saarinen's Womb Chair - both have a very modern and fresh profile that draws one in with curiosity and both deliver a sitting experience that's incredibly comfortable. This Saarinen chair has a slanted seat to align you into that hugging barrel seat back. Cozy and supported. Lower seat back cut out ventilates well. Legs are strong and made of metal for lasting quality. Newly upholstered in luxurious and super soft ivory shearling sheepskins. Great side chair in an Entry or office chair.
