Eero Saarinen for Knoll leather "Womb" chair with ottoman
-
Description
This iconic lounge chair was designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in the late 40's, and this chair and ottoman were produced before 1969 based on the label on the underside of the ottoman. Florence Knoll requested "a chair that was like a basket full of pillows - something I could really curl up in." The pale taupe leather upholstery is in excellent condition and was done about ten years ago. The ottoman measures 25.5" wide, 20" deep, 15" high.
