Knoll Saarinen Executive Arm Chairs in Italian Bouclé & Oak Legs, Set of 6
-
Description
Eero Saarinen is widely regarded as one of the most important furniture designers of the 20th Century, known for his innovative use of materials and sculptural approach to form. His iconic pieces for Knoll, such as the Tulip Chair, Womb Chair, and these Executive Chairs continue to embody his design philosophy and are celebrated for their timeless elegance and functional simplicity. The Object Refinery team has intimate knowledge of this famed Saarinen design from years of experience in executing countless restorations for our clients.
For this set of six Saarinen Executive Arm Chairs, which feature handsome oak legs, our team chose a beautiful Italian cotton bouclé in the color Ivory. The combination of light oak and the soft yet textured bouclé makes for an elegant match. In addition to new fabric, each chair is thoroughly inspected and receives new foam fill. The result of our restoration are practically new-condition examples of Eero Saarinen’s famed design for Knoll.
While any version of Eero Saarinen’s Executive Chairs are timeless, the Arm Chair iteration in particular makes for a generous dining chair sure to delight one’s guests. Furthermore, the light oak legs make these chairs a warm addition to any inspired home. -

Message from Seller:
Stories exist in many forms, we see them in objects. The aesthetic of those before us is passed down through their surviving creations. These are the objects we search for; to preserve, refine, & continue the story. Object Refinery combines design obsession, fine craftsmanship, and a love for history in our worldwide search for objects. Based in Connecticut, USA; we partner with a network of local artisans to restore and refine our findings before passing them on to the next collector.
