Handsome Art Nouveau / Finnish National Romanticism armchair in the style of style of Eliel Saarinen (1873-1950), and perhaps influenced by the work of Hendrik Petrus Berlage and Peter Behrens, having an angled trapezoid silhouetted back, vertical splats and a central concave-sided diamond splat, open arms, and gridded patterning consisting of rows of recessed squares along the sides of the arm rests and around the apron, in stained beech, Finland circa 1900.
