Don't delay on this absolutely splendid and rare set of 12 Eliel Saarinen mid century modern dining chairs. 1940s glamour restored with a chic contrast of colors and textures. A beautiful and robust family of 12, this MCM set is layered with 8 side chairs, 2 arm chairs and 2 occasional chairs. Glowing post full restoration with newly professionally refinished bleached mahogany frames and plush new cushions professionally upholstered in curly camel fabric rated highly durable. The camel fabric color works to highlight the sculptural bleached mahogany frames and its texture ventilates well keeping you cool in summer and cozy in winter. Reminiscent of Paul Frankl corseted dining chairs with their plunging backs, Eliel Saarinen plunges even deeper with a full top to bottom cut out on all all chairs. Arched well padded seat backs with complimenting splayed legs. Large and comfortable seat cushion for extended comfort during gregarious dinner parties. A chic accent to the set, the occasional chairs adorn with measured barrel backs highlighted by symmetrical cut outs and bleached mahogany handles. Perfect next to the buffet or side board. Light and easy to incorporate for larger gatherings. Only set of its kind available globally.
