An elegant French Empire, circa 1810, fauteuil de bureau, or desk chair, having carved mahogany frame with continous deeply curved klismos-influenced backrest terminating into finely carved lion-muzzles; swept arm supports joining round turned front legs connecting D-shaped upholstered seat with rear sabre legs all on casters.
