Eric Bertil Karlén Pair of Lounge Chairs in Ivory Linen and Elm, Sweden, 1940s

Price Upon Request
  • Description
This rare pair of lounge chairs was designed by Eric Bertil Karlén and produced by his company Firma Rumsinteriör in Sweden in the 1940s. The elegant shape of the design is emphasized by the buttoned wing shaped back and seat. The elm wood frame consists of single side slats and tapered legs. The chairs have been newly upholstered in an ivory linen fabric. The natural and nicely textured fabric and the attractive wood grain of the elm frame give the pair a refined appearance.
