Hundreds of feathers were molded and sculpted to create Silver Nitrate Feather, a work that is at once a functional object and a unique free-standing sculpture. The density of the work’s material elegantly contrasts with the lightness of the delicate feather forms.

New York based contemporary sculptor Erin Sullivan employs the labor-intensive lost-wax process to create exquisite, realistic interpretations of her organic subject matter. As Sullivan works on a commission basis, custom dimensionality and finishes may be accommodated.
