Rare sofa designed by Eugenio Escudero for D’Escudero, S.A. in Mexico circa 1950s. This stunning sofa features a sturdy walnut-stained mahogany wood frame with sculptural, clean lines. The scissor-shaped tapered legs are capped with brass sabots, ensuring comfortable support and optimal stability. The open back is supported by a horizontal brace that extends harmoniously to the sides and down into the legs. The floating cushions are new high-density foam upholstered in a quality white and taupe woven fabric. The minimalist yet unique aesthetic make of this Mexican Modernist design the ideal fit for any interior.
