One of only forty examples ever created, this slant arm chair was designed in 1956 by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Price Tower and is often referred to as the "origami chair". The innovative cast aluminum design complements the aluminum casing of the building's exterior windows and was originally created for various spaces in the building including the executive suites and H.C Price's own private office. This is an extraordinarily well-preserved, museum-quality example and retains the original silver paint on the cast aluminum frame as well as the FLW-designed Schumacher upholstery. It is quite possibly the best remaining example in existence.
Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper, Price Tower, continues to be one of the most compelling and inspiring projects in his long career.
