Description
Curved sofa in velours attributed to Federico Munari.Wonderful organically formed with a challenging character and the look that is so unmistakable for the grandeur of Italy in the field of interior design in the fifties. This curved sofa is a good example of this and is also characterized by soft round shapes with beautiful ascending lines.A sloping line of the backrest is the most eye-catching aspect. This rises beautifully from the beginning of the side of the seat and goes in a curved direction to the outer part, also called the ear.Seven brass and tapered legs bring the corpus to a pleasant height and thus add a lightness, as it were. Its legs also show a sublime patina. The interior of both the seat and the backrest have been completely refilled with memory foam. The slightly backward sloping backrest encloses the back and together this results in ultimate seating comfort. The shapes and style in which this sofa is made strongly resemble the designs of Federico Munari. Class and a chic appearance are typical features of this. This sofa has been completely reupholstered in a beautiful high-quality ocher velours upholstery."
