French 19th Century Provincial Walnut Prie-Dieu

Description
This sweet walnut prie-dieu, c.1880’s, is from the provincial countryside of France and can be used for a lifetime. Just lift the hinged seat to allow your little one to say their goodnight prayers on the kneeler and when they’ve grown they can continue to use it, if not for prayer, as a handy side chair for unexpected guests!
